The Obamas were celebrated at their last Kennedy Center Honors
The longest, loudest standing ovation of the Kennedy Center Honors gala wasn’t reserved for Al Pacino, Mavis Staples or the Eagles. Instead, it went to the man sitting to their left: President Barack Obama.

Michelle Obama is going out in style.
At Sunday's Kennedy Center Honors, which marks Obama's eighth and final year attending as first lady, she dazzled in an embroidered, off-the-shoulder number by Gucci. With all eyes on her (per usual), she continued her style reign.
It's not the first time she's worn the designer brand, helmed by Alessandro Michele. She wore a map-print dress for an appearance on Ellen in September.
But it was a perfect way to cap off eight years of style.
