These daddy-daughter duos will make you weep with their powerful affirmations

Positivity is contagious.

Earlier this week, The Scene posted a compilation video of little girls from all walks of life repeating affirmations recited by their fathers. The project, which had garnered 6.3 million Facebook views at publishing time, was inspired by and interweaves footage from a video that went viral in September, in which YMCA program director and personal trainer Ron Alston showcased his morning ritual with his daughter, Aliyah.

"I am strong," the adorable 3-year-old chants, following Alston’s lead. "I am smart. I work hard. I am beautiful."

The Scene's spin on the ritual sees dads sharing such heartwarming mantras as "I have wings to fly. I see no limit," "I have black girl magic" and "I am loved and I love others." And if that doesn't have you reaching for a tissue, we don't know what will.
