'Atlanta' star pulls a Kanye, crashes the stage during Critics' Choice Awards

Lakeith Stanfield had a Darius moment during the Critics' Choice Awards Sunday night.

After Atlanta was bested by Silicon Valley in the best comedy category Sunday night, Stanfield — who stars as Paper Boi’s idiot-savant friend, Darius — crashed the stage, taking the mic as Silicon Valley producers exchanged puzzled glances.

"I want to thank everybody for, um, honoring us this way," Stanfield said, as eyes in the crowd popped. "We worked very hard on Silicon Valley and here we are. Thank you!"

When Silicon executive producer Tom Lassally finally took his turn at the mic after Stanfield dashed off the stage, he deadpanned, "No idea who that was."
