'Rogue One' star Felicity Jones set to steal the show at 'SNL'... as host

Fresh off her return from a galaxy far, far away, Felicity Jones is hitting Saturday Night Live. 

The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story actress is scheduled to host the sketch comedy series on Jan. 14, the first episode of the year. SNL broke the news over the weekend, announcing that country music star Sturgill Simpson will appear as the musical guest.

The Jan. 14 show will serve as the SNL hosting debut for Jones, who stole the box office this weekend with her turn as Rebel Alliance fighter Jyn Erso in the standalone Star Wars film, Rogue One. And if her comedy chops prove to have even half as much Force, we're sure she'll steal the show, too.
