The royals have a new chauffeur: Prince William

Who needs an official chauffeur?

Prince George, Prince Harry, Duchess Kate and (presumably) Princess Charlotte had Prince William drive them to Buckingham Palace Tuesday. The royals were present to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s Christmas lunch, an annual tradition that she and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, put on ahead of their holiday respite at the Sandringham Estate, their country retreat in Norfolk, England.

Duchess Kate, who appeared to be in the Christmas spirit Monday in a rose-printed Vanessa Seward dress, looked festive in a purple coat, flashing her engagement ring (formerly Princess Diana’s), a 12-carat oval sapphire surrounded by 14 solitaire diamonds set in 18-karat gold. Princess Charlotte wasn't visible but the princes (George, Harry, and William) looked just as fresh, with Prince George in a collared navy coat and Princes Harry and William in suits. Prince William also his sported glasses, because #fashion.

Kidding. Obviously, they're there to help him see the road — or hide his bags from trying to keep up with his favorite threenager. Either one.
