Viola Davis, Jimmy Fallon epically fail ‘Tonight Show’ Best Friends Challenge

This close to the gift-giving season you need to have a firm grip on friendship statuses. Will the recipient be getting a coffee mug or something you have to convince yourself not to keep? That’s where the Tonight Show "Best Friends Challenge" comes in.

Wednesday, Viola Davis, who effortlessly stunned in white, and show host Jimmy Fallon pulled questions from a box decorated with some of the best friendships in pop culture – and some would argue history – including Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, and Friends' Monica Geller and Rachel Green. Similar to The Newlywed Game, the object is to predict how the other person would answer the question.

Spoiler alert: Fallon and Davis probably won’t be exchanging rose gold BFF necklaces this season, but they have another year to get close. See how well they don't know each other in the clip above.
