The Roots' Tariq nails his portrayal of 'Bachelor' villain Corinne

Chris Harrison isn't alone these days in thinking that The Bachelor is incredibly dramatic. Thanks to cheese pasta addict Corinne Olympios, Nick Viall's season has been one to watch. Even Jimmy Fallon admitted on The Tonight Show Tuesday that he is a fan of the dating show.

To relive some of the delicious drama, Fallon enlisted the help of Questlove and Tariq of the Tonight Show house band The Roots for a reenactment. Questlove played the part of Josephine Tutman and Tariq played Corinne, who sternly defended herself during #napgate.

"People are upset about my nap," Tariq said as music played, heightening the emotion of the scene. "Like, all they could say was, 'You took a nap, and that was bad.' Like, I didn't mean to offend anyone by taking that nap, okay? Michael Jordan took naps. Abraham Lincoln took naps, and I'm in trouble for napping? Like, I can't even."

And scene.

If you're having a hard time believing this is real life, check out this clip of Corinne defending herself for the aforementioned nap.
