Thankfully, the days of yawn-inducing and ill-fitting menswear are coming to an end. Case in point, when actors gathered at Sunday's SAG Awards to celebrate their peers, they let their personal style shine on the red carpet. Here are our favorite looks.

1. Mahershala Ali

Before moving us with his speech, the Moonlight actor, who walked away with an award for his performance, wowed us in his white Ermenegildo Zegna tuxedo with contrasting bow tie, pocket square and loafers.

2. Ryan Gosling

Gosling La La Land-ed this navy fitted look by Gucci accented with black lapels.

3. Caleb McLaughlin

The Stranger Things star looked far from peculiar in a custom striped tux by BOOKATAILOR.

4. James Marsden

Unlike Gosling, the Westworld actor paired his navy jacket with black pants. He completed his ensemble with a floral lapel pin.

5. Ben Barnes

Logan from Westworld joins his co-star, Marsden, on our best dressed list thanks to his Burberry tux. His wine-colored jacket with texture adds pizzazz to what would otherwise be a very traditional look.

6. Rami Malek

A new face of Dior Homme, the Mr. Robot star stood out in this suit with a black and white pattern which livened up the red carpet.

7. Dev Patel

While navy ensembles were not unique on the SAGs' red carpet, the Lion actor differentiated his Brunello Cucinelli suit by sporting a tie and vest.

8. William H. Macy

We're certainly fans of innovation when it comes to menswear, but we also applaud a man who can pull off a classic look really well. Admittedly, next to Macy's stunning wife, Felicity Huffman, it's hard to look bad.

9. Noah Schnapp

Will Byers from Strangers Things wasn't missing one thing when it came to his look from Sunday night. We're big fans of the pop of color his tuxedo jacket brings, and we find his playful, blue shoes to be quite age appropriate.
