Patrick Stewart and Steven Colbert are 'Waiting For Godot's Obamacare Replacement'
Samuel Beckett's got nothing on Washington politics.
While stopping by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night to promote Logan, Patrick Stewart put his thespian muscles to use. In a parody that would make your high school English teacher proud, Stewart and Colbert presented "Waiting For Godot's Obamacare Replacement." As you might imagine, the bit included a lot of waiting, jokes at the GOP and Trump's expense and some ratty bowler hats.
Too bad Ian McKellan couldn't join them for the bit. He and Stewart starred in Godot (paired with No Man's Land by Harold Pinter) on Broadway. And they could have added a Lord of the Rings line to go with that Star Trek reference.
