Cannes Film Festival: Bella Hadid's high-slit dress shows too much

It's only Day 1 of the Cannes Film Festival, but we already have our first wardrobe malfunction.

Bella Hadid was a victim of Cannes' notoriously treacherous red carpet Wednesday night when her pink silk Alexandre Gauthier gown, which featured a sky-high slit, showed a little too much as the model ascended the stairs of the Palais des Festivals. Blame it on the wind.

Hadid was attending the festival's Opening Gala, which featured a screening of Ismael's Ghosts (Les Fantomes d'Ismael), starring Marion Cotillard.

The model wore a similarly risqué look to the event last year, with a red dress and slit that we declared had conquered Cannes.

But hey – she was wearing discreet underwear! So it was a pretty tame 'oops' moment after all.
