Droughtlander is almost over: 'Outlander' Season 3 premiere date, teaser released

The final days of Droughtlander are near. And it's a good thing since it's already been a year without Jamie and Claire.

So fans will be relieved to hear Starz's time-traveling drama based on the books by Diana Gabaldon will return for its third season on Sept. 10. 

In a teaser shared on Twitter, Outlander's heroine, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) appears, cutting through thick fog. "I had been on an impossible journey," she says in a voice-over. "You can come back to your life, but it's never the same." Next come the angst-inducing lines that every Claire and Jamie fan fears: "Maybe it was enough to have gone once. How many people can say they had that?"

Raise your hand if you think that was enough? Nobody? We didn't either. OK, moving on. 

As if the clip wasn't agonizing enough on its own, a poster showing the lovers yearning for each other in two distinct time periods was also released. If you need to know where we'll be for the next two months, it will be right here, staring at this image.
