You know that feeling when you just really want the president to text you back already?

Saturday Night Live writer Josh Patten must be a little lonely, because he's started to reply to President Trump's tweets as if they're personal texts.

Patten revealed those "texts" to the world on Twitter Sunday, saying he was "proud to unveil [his] new, incredibly stupid project: Responding to Trump Tweets Like They Were Texts."

Hey, just because something's a little stupid doesn't mean it's not funny! Usually. Anyway, here's a few of Patten's best Trump tweet texts (say that five times fast).

He just wanted Trump to check out some cool tourist spots and check in after his flight.

He showed interest in Trump's daily outings.

And after Trump tweeted about his busy schedule, Patten recommended a good TV show in case the president gets a chance to relax.

Sounds like a pretty good friend to us.
