Selena Gomez celebrates low-key 25th birthday — without the Weeknd or Taylor Swift?

Selena Gomez has never been one for a blowout birthday bash, spending her special days in previous years with cakeclose-knit friends and calls for charity donations.

That's exactly how the Fetish singer celebrated turning 25 on Saturday, sharing scenes from her quiet birthday party on Sunday via social media.

"Thank you for all of my bday love. I couldn't be more blessed. A lot of you don't realize how much you mean to me. I. Love. You. Think 25 is going to be epic. xo," she captioned the solo shot, before posting a subsequent picture surrounded by friends.

Gomez’s boyfriend, the Weeknd, who is currently on tour in Paris, did not appear in any of the photos, suggesting he was likely not in attendance. And while her BFF Taylor Swift celebrated Gomez' Fetish premiere on social media, there was no Instagram or Twitter evidence she attended the party either.

As she's done in recent years, Gomez also tweeted a link to a charity donation page for lupus research, inviting her fans to contribute.

"Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes! Asked my family and friends to make a donation - if you want to join," she wrote.

In 2015, Gomez revealed she was diagnosed with the disease several years prior, undergoing chemotherapy as treatment.
