Stars wish happy birthday to Barack Obama, 'the flyest to ever do it'

Former President Barack Obama marked his 56th birthday Friday, and actors, athletes and other celebrities took to Twitter to post birthday messages thanking him for his time in office and celebrating him for his kindness. 

Joe Biden posted about his appreciation for Obama's "friendship and brotherhood," also known as the pair's beloved bromance. 

LeBron James also wished Obama a happy day. 

Jesse Tyler Ferguson shared a funny meme. 

"Happy birthday to the flyest to ever do it," Zendaya wrote. 

"We love and miss you dearly," Miley Cyrus said. 

Common tweeted about one of the former president's philosophies. 

And of course, his wife and former First Lady Michelle Obama shared a sweet message for him, complete with a throwback photo of the whole family.
