Trevor Noah slams Joe Arpaio: 'His full-time job is racism'
For those unfamiliar with Joe Arpaio, the lawman President Trump pardoned for his criminal contempt conviction, Trevor Noah and The Daily Show crew assembled a segment he called "Profiles in Tremendousness: Pardon Edition."
"As much as Sheriff Arpaio presented himself as anti-illegal immigrant, it turned out that he was really just anti-being-a-decent-human-being," Noah asserted.
Echoing reports shown to Monday's viewers in a clip, Noah said Arpaio was "regarded by many as one of the worst sheriffs in America — worse than Sheriff Clarke, worse than Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane, worse than the sheriff Bob Marley shot in his song."
