'America's Got Talent' ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer makes Simon Cowell blush

Singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer amazed the crowd yet again at the America's Got Talent semifinals Tuesday — and her latest puppet managed to make Simon Cowell blush. 

Farmer debuted Edna, an elderly puppet with a stunning voice and a major Cowell crush. 

"He's a hit with the ladies in their 80s back in the home you know," Edna told Farmer, who suggested Edna sing Cowell a song. 

And Edna didn't pick just any ballad — she belted out Aretha Franklin's (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman. 

Halfway through the song, Edna asked Farmer to take her down to sing by Cowell's side at the judges' table. 

The bit was a hit.

Farmer had the crowd on their feet long before she Edna finished the song. Cowell himself called the performance "brilliant."
