Sam Smith is back — and he's brining more of his brand of emotional music videos with him. 

The Stay With Me singer's Too Good At Goodbyes video, released Monday, is a touching look at love and heartbreak. Directed by Luke Monaghan, the video shows glimpses of couples at various points of a breakup, highlighting the pain that comes with saying goodbye to someone you love.

The video's imagery plays perfectly with the song's heart-wrenching lyrics: "I'm never gonna let you close to me / Even though you mean the most to me / 'Cause every time I open up, it hurts / So I'm never gonna get too close to you."
