'Wonder Woman' finally gets that Honest Trailer you were waiting for

Critics have done nothing but praise Wonder Woman, but now the box office hero (which hit theaters in June) is finally getting the Honest Trailer treatment.

Though the team at Screen Junkies is known for skewering movies (like The Revenant) in parody trailers, they play pretty nice with the film starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, aka "Amazon Prime" and "Want to touch the Piney."

Some digs? That the film starts at Themyscira, "a society of women trained from birth to cover for Gal Gadot's accent," according to the clip. Also, the movie "implies that Wonder Woman kept her head down for all of Hitler and Stalin, but did suit up the moment Lex Luthor made a Ninja Turtle."

See? Not too harsh.

Here's a line sums up the only-slightly-critical tone of the Honest Trailer: "Is it an inspirational, well-made film that finally gives women a superhero to be proud of? Yes. Does it end with a lightning-hands mustache man yelling video-game level dialogue? Also yes."
