Christie Brinkley's daughter joins 'SI' Swimsuit Issue class of 2018

Christie Brinkley's daughter is officially joining the burgeoning second-generation supermodel club.

Sailor Brinkley Cook, the 19-year-old daughter of Brinkley and her fourth husband Peter Cook, has booked the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, a major milestone in a model's career.

She made her SI debut alongside her mother, 63, and half-sister Alexa Ray Joel in the most recent edition.

Cook's Aruba photo shoot, scheduled for October, will be live-streamed. The magazine will be out in February and will also feature the swimsuit issue debuts of Chase Carter and Robin Holzken.

Mama Brinkley has appeared in the issue nine times, with the first eight coming between 1975 and 2004. She also scored three consecutive covers, from 1979 to 1981.
