'The X-Files' Season 11 trailer: Agents Scully and Mulder race to find their son

They're baaaack.

Well, almost.

Lucky fans of The X-Files attending the show's presentation at New York Comic Con on Sunday got a peek of their favorite FBI agents back in action.

At the panel, a new trailer teased what to expect when the show returns in 2018 for a 10-episode Season 11.

What is clear from the teaser is that Scully is very sick in a hospital bed, but fans can still expect to see her in action as she declares in the clip, "I have to find our son!" It's a reference to the agents' child, William, whom fans discovered previously was given up for adoption years ago.

Also in the trailer: Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davis) and FBI assistant director Skinner (Mitch Pileggi).

No specific date has been announced for the series' early 2018 return.
