Snoop Dogg talks pot, hints at more, in 'Joker's Wild' chat with Straight Up Hollywood
This week, Straight Up Hollywood podcast gives you a ringside seat — make that a casino-lounge-style seat — at Snoop Dogg's "Snoopified" revamp of a classic game show, The Joker's Wild.
TV reporter Bill Keveney (@billkev) sat down for an entertaining conversation with the hip-hop star/host after a test show. In the Paste BN entertainment podcast, Snoop talks about watching the original Joker's Wild with his grandmother and then expounds on the show's numerous marijuana references ("We should have did this interview in my little trailer, because I could have showed you better than I can tell you."), and crazy quiz categories in the TBS show (Tuesday, 10 ET/PT).
He even humorously critiques Keveney's primitive note-taking skills in a bleep-filled riff on "scribbling."
Entertainment reporter Carly Mallenbaum (@ThatGirlCarly) and West Coast Entertainment Editor Andrea Mandell (@AndreaMandell) assess the latest Marvel film, Thor: Ragnarok, including a chat with star Chris Hemsworth. Mandell has praise for director Taika Waititi.
They conclude Ragnarok is Hemsworth's best standalone film in the series.

On a more serious note, Mandell attended the premiere of Suburbicon and asked director George Clooney and star Matt Damon for their thoughts on how the Harvey Weinstein sex abuse scandal will affect Hollywood and whether the universal outcry will deter bad behavior.
