Veep actors Matt Walsh and Sam Richardson went in search of inspiring quotes to send to co-star Julia Louis-Dreyfus ahead of her third chemotherapy session since announcing her breast cancer diagnosis in late September.

Candidate No. 1: "I believe in one thing only: The power of human will."

"Nope," Walsh said, vetoing Richardson's quote due to its origin: Brutal Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin.

Candidate No. 2: "If you're lucky enough to do well, it's your responsibility to send the elevator back down ..."

Richardson cut Walsh off before could finish, noting, "That's Kevin Spacey. Too soon!"

Third time's the charm, right?

Candidate No. 3: "I always find that when I do something that I like, from my heart, that it works."

A dejected Walsh pointed out that particular fountain of inspiration: disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein.

They finally gave up and decided to psyche her up with a song instead, breaking into the Survivor classic Eye of the Tiger after imploring her to "Kick some (expletive) today!"

The song was a solid choice given that she quoted a similar track after her last round of chemo: Katy Perry's Roar.

Later, Louis-Dreyfus informed the pair, "Guess what? It worked! I'm psyched!"
