Meghan Markle looks sleek (and breaks royal protocol) in all black with a Gucci clutch

Looks like Meghan Markle is enjoying her last outings as a commoner by edging on breaking a royal fashion rule.

The soon-to-be bride of Prince Harry stepped out in an all-black ensemble while attending a women's empowerment reception in London Thursday.

The color is normally reserved for funerals in the royal family, but Markle looked nothing short of sleek in a dress with an asymmetrical neckline by Black Halo.

She paired the look with stunning Aquazzura strappy heels, a mini Gucci clutch and her hair in a low bun.

Future hubby Harry was by her side at the event, shaking hands and greeting guests.

Will the fashion police come after Markle? No, the all-black rule has been broken before: Kate Middleton also donned black for church on Easter Sunday earlier this month.
