In what’s become a rite of passage for many graduating high school seniors in the age of TikTok, Matthew Myslenski decided to record a video of himself finding out if he got into Harvard University. By his side, his twin sister Magda nervously logged into the website to check the status of her brother’s application.

Watch the heartwarming reaction this brother and sister shared when they learned Matthew had been accepted.

Matthew and Magda may have appeared both stunned and overjoyed, but according to those who know him, Matthew’s success is no surprise. “He can do anything, and he does whatever he sets his mind to without question or complaint,” said his guidance counselor Valerie Champany at Woodstock Academy in Connecticut.

Matthew has cerebral palsy, a physical disability that affects movement and muscle tone. He’s never let that hold him back, though. “I don’t limit myself with anything,” said Matthew, “and I want to inspire others to not limit themselves either.”

Matthew plans to study Biology at Harvard and eventually begin a career in medicine, like his parents. “After taking AP Bio at Woodstock Academy, I knew I wanted to focus on a STEM career.”

By the way, Matthew's twin sister Magda, his biggest cheerleader, is also destined for greatness as she heads off to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the fall.
