A woman is stunned when a birthday party guessing game results in a marriage proposal
The popular guessing game, Taboo, has been a favorite at parties and family gatherings since it was released in 1989. But there’s a good chance it’s rarely, if ever, featured in a marriage proposal. But that’s the creative way Daunta Bell decided to propose to his girlfriend, Christina Hopkins, at her birthday party in Atlanta, Georgia.

With the party in full swing, Daunta gave out a series of word clues for their friends to guess. Beside him, Christina was completely unaware that the words were forming a message. When the game timer stopped, there was a debate about the score, so Daunta listed the words that had been guessed, spelling out “Will you marry me.” Even then, Christina thought it was a coincidence and all part of the game. But suddenly, the penny dropped as she realized the proposal was for real!
