A Southwest Airlines pilot took a time-out from his duties to honor an entire family.
The flight from Dallas, Texas, was ahead of schedule so the captain left the cockpit to make a special announcement to passengers about some unofficial VIPs onboard.
Angel, who’d been working as a flight attendant for 27 years, was joined for the first time by her daughters, Keleko and Jessica. They were on their first Southwest Airlines flight as cabin crew, realizing a childhood dream.
To round off the family affair, the captain also honored their father, Gregg, a retired pilot who had joined his wife and kids as a passenger to mark the occasion.
