Christmas joy got a literal jumpstart for 95-year-old Dorothy Zampano, thanks to a surprise festive gift from her granddaughter.

Molly Zampano Kuchta learned she was pregnant in November and knew Dorothy would be thrilled at the prospect of becoming a great-grandmother for the first time. To reveal the news, Molly handed Dorothy a decoy gift of a red sweater. As the camera rolled on Christmas morning, Dorothy unwrapped the present and showed her appreciation while unknowingly setting aside the most important gift, an ultrasound photo.

Dorothy was invited to take a second look, and her reaction to the photo was as unique as the moment. "It looks like something's swimming," she declared, struggling to see the picture without her glasses. But then, it clicked, prompting a joyful leap that would put a ballerina to shame.
