A brave toddler and his big sisters reunited after an intense seven-hour brain surgery.

Three-year-old Kenzo Iwazaki Hirata suffered a stroke caused by Moyamoya, a rare brain condition.

Kenzo and his family travelled more than 600 miles from their home in Toledo, Brazil, to Sao Paolo where he had the intense operation.

His big sisters, Ayumi, 11, and Yuna, 7, were nervously waiting the whole seven hours. Post-surgery, the girls were given the good news that Kenzo's surgery was successful. He had to stay in the intensive care unit though, which meant no visitors.

Their dad surprised the sisters with their baby brother through a protective glass window.
