Ray Petelin interviewed his daughter, Elizabeth, on video on the first day of school from kindergarten to 12th grade. Before each new school year began, he asked her the same questions - What are you excited about and what do you want to be?
Her choice of possible professions ranged from doctor to heart surgeon to physical therapist to nurse, with a slight deviation to teacher, waitress, and magician along the way.
In her senior year, her dad put together a fascinating compilation of all 13 magical moments that brought a lump to his throat. And the video would also touch the hearts of many other parents, as it quickly went viral when he put it online.
"I looked back at the first video and it still feels like it was yesterday," said Ray.
