A group of South Carolinians came to the aid of their neighbors in North Carolina in the wake of the devastating Hurricane Helene.
Many North Carolina communities suffered terrible damage and have an ongoing need for urgent assistance. Help is coming from far and wide, but there's no one better positioned to provide immediate relief than the generous people of the neighboring state.
Rising to the occasion, community members from Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, banded together to collect donations of food, medicine, supplies, and first aid to send to their neighbors up north.

Volunteers meticulously organized the donations at the Low Country Community Church, while pausing to pray for the first responders and everyone impacted by the storm.
As donations head to Banner Elk and Asheville, the message is clear: in the face of adversity, kindness knows no state lines.
