Watch siblings share tearful hug with mom while meeting newborn sister for the first time
Two siblings eagerly awaited the arrival of their baby sister, but nothing could have prepared them for the overwhelming emotions when they finally met her.
Beckham, 11, and and Vega, 9, had virtually met their sister when they attended 3D ultrasounds during their mom Jena Schmidt’s pregnancy. However, meeting their new baby sister up close and in person was a whole different story.

“Their reactions were so pure and genuine,” Jena said. “It made my heart explode with love and joy… a truly unforgettable moment.”
Now, Beckham and Vega have embraced and excelled at their roles as older siblings. “They love her very much and enjoy showing her off to their friends,” Jena said. “Bower is the perfect addition to our family.”
