Elliott Gwilliam thought he couldn’t be happier when he walked down the aisle to marry Emma Beddow in Hodnet, Shropshire, England. But he was wrong!
The couple, whose daughter Evie, is three years old, had been planning the wedding for a year. So, when the big day arrived, Elliott awaited his bride's arrival feeling cool, calm, and collected.
“I actually wasn't nervous as I stood there waiting for Emma,” said Elliot. "I thought, 'Nah, I've got this.'"
But Elliott’s calmness was only skin deep. And it was shattered when his daughter's words echoed over the public address system with a surprise message that brought the groom and the whole congregation to tears.
