The moment this mother and son reunited after over a decade apart had the whole family in tears.
Angel Perez, 28, moved from his hometown Matamoros, Mexico to Texas 13 years ago in search of a new life. In doing so, he had to leave his mom, dad and two sisters behind.
The separation was hard. Life continued on without each other. One of his sisters had a baby. His father passed away. During all of this, Angel was never allowed to travel to see his family because of his immigration status.
Angel missed his family. More than a decade later, his mom, Ana, and Angel's wife, Aracely, plotted to surprise him with what he wished for the most: a hug from his mom.

Ana finally received her visa to allow her to visit the U.S. She traveled with Angel's sister to surprise her son. At a family gathering in San Benito, Texas, Ana'a unexpected arrival brought Angel to tears. The family was reunited again, thirteen long years later!
