The magic of Disneyland cast its spell on a pair of siblings thanks to Buzz Lightyear.

When 3-year-old Jabez Arevalo, who is hard of hearing, met his hero Buzz Lightyear, he couldn’t wait to hug him. But then something incredible happened - instead of just waving hello, Buzz started communicating with him in American Sign Language, creating an unforgettable moment for both Jabez and his sister Everlyn.

“As a deaf mom of deaf and hard-of-hearing children, I dream of a world where all deaf kids can communicate with everyone - even Disney characters,” said Estefani, Jabez’s mom. “Buzz made them feel seen and included.”
