On National Siblings Day, watch brother's speech move sister to tears

National Siblings Day on April 10 is a celebration of the people who’ve seen us at our best, worst, and everything in between.
Whether they’re your lifelong best friend or childhood rival, siblings share a bond that’s hard to put into words. But one brother managed to do just that.
Kevin never forgot how his big sister, Jessica, comforted him when they got lost during a trip to Disney World as kids. Years later, with a mic in hand at her wedding in Napa, California, he returned the love - with a touching speech that had the whole room in tears.
Just 14 months apart, Kevin and Jessica grew up side by side - same schools, same teams, even the same friend groups. So when it came time to celebrate his sister's big day, Kevin wanted to say something meaningful.
“I rewrote and practiced the speech countless times in the months leading up to the wedding,” he said. “I wasn’t nervous about public speaking - I was nervous about the weight of the moment.”
But when the time came, he delivered every word with heart.
“Kevin’s speech was one of those rare moments when everyone in the room was fully present,” Jessica said. “It was the perfect balance of depth and lightness. Everyone didn’t just hear it - they felt it.”
