Watch this 80-year-old veteran graduate after inspiring hundreds

Age is just a number when passion and perseverance lead the way.
At nearly 80 years old, a Vietnam veteran walked across the stage at South Carolina State University to claim his diploma.
Linwood Riddick was drafted into the Navy before he had the chance to complete his college education. But his dream never died. And after retiring at 72, he went back to school to finish what he started.
While enrolled, he fully immersed himself in the college experience, even becoming an active member of the university's concert choir.
At his graduation ceremony, the crowd erupted in applause as he walked across the stage to receive his diploma for a degree in music industry.
Riddick was greeted by SC State President Alexander Conyers, who told him, "You inspire us all."
Riddick proves that no matter where you are in life, it's never too late to chase your dreams.
