Grandparents shocked by surprise homecoming of their sailor
Surprising someone who's especially hard to surprise takes a whole team. Navy sailor, Harley Brewer, wanted to stage an unexpected homecoming for his grandparents, who can be tricky to catch off guard. Luckily, he had help from the rest of his family.
Harley has been in the Navy for four years. Every year he's been able to come home for the holidays. However, Harley, his brother, JT, and his mother, Holly, told his grandparents that he was on deployment and would not be making it home this year.

Harley hadn't seen his grandparents for about a year. But after an elaborate set-up, he showed up at their family dinner to spring a wonderful surprise. Feeling a tap on the head, his grandparents turned to see his face, prompting screams of joy.
And that wasn't the only surprise of the day, as Harley's girlfriend, DeeDee, decided to give him a shock of his own.
The couple met while they were both serving in the Navy. On one of her first days at the Navy facility, DeeDee got lost. But she ran into Harley, who helped her get where she needed to go.
This time, it was DeeDee who was in the know. With help from Holly and JT, she snuck into town without Harley knowing. Then, she patiently waited in the car while he surprised his grandparents. When the initial excitement of Harley's big reveal had died down, JT brought DeeDee inside, and she ran excitedly into her boyfriend's arms.
The final surprise of the day was provided by the restaurant where all of the drama took place. When the staff saw the homecoming surprise, they brought the family a dessert to thank Harley for his service. And their generosity and appreciation put the icing on a very special and eventful day.
