Eight months can seem like a lifetime to an 8-year-old. And that’s how long Ronin had been without his dad. Senior Master Sergeant Mark Coffelt was deployed in Qatar, but his young son had hoped he’d make it home for his birthday. However, when a mysterious box arrived containing nothing but an apology, Ronin was bitterly disappointed. Little did he know he was about to receive the best birthday gift ever!
