Days, weeks, and months can seem like forever in the mind of a toddler. So, when Chelsey Speicher’s first Air Force deployment took her away for a six-month stint in the Middle East, she worried how her young son, Bennett, would react.

They stayed in touch in the usual way via the internet, but when it came time for Chelsey to return to their home in Atlanta, GA, she didn’t know what to expect. However, when she nervously walked out of the arrivals hall, her now two-year-old son was there with a welcome to warm a mother’s heart.

Watch the video to see a truly touching mother-son reunion.
