When 19-year-old Briselda Lopez left for U.S. Air Force training, she had to say goodbye to her furry best friend - her 3-year-old pug, Lucy.
Knowing how tough the months of separation had been for Briselda, her family wanted to make her graduation unforgettable.
For weeks, they prepared Lucy for a top-secret cross-country mission, getting her used to her carrier for the long flight from Palmdale, California to San Antonio, Texas.
On graduation day, Briselda thought she was just meeting up with her family in a hotel parking lot. She had no idea the best surprise of all was about to make an appearance.
