When a soldier was granted last-minute leave, she used her time off to make her grandma's day.

Bless, a 20-year-old Army specialist stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, didn’t think she’d get to her grandma Louise’s 90th birthday celebration in Philadelphia. The pair have a deep bond, and the thought of Bless missing the party was heartbreaking for both of them.

However, just days before the big event, Bless's request for leave was granted! Of course, her last-minute flight to Philly wasn't cheap, costing $1000, but Bless didn't let that stand in her way.

With only her cousin in on the secret, she arrived at the party in full military uniform, walking through the door to stunned faces and happy screams from her whole family.
