A deeply moving moment took place in San Diego when two sisters were stunned by the sound of their military father's voice.

Quiyon Young is a U.S. Navy chief warrant officer based in Japan. It had been three years since Laila, 11, and Laci, 9, had last seen their father in person. His girls live in Baltimore with their mother. Before Quiyon's assignment overseas, they would visit him often in San Diego. and shared a close and strong bond.

With their dad working abroad, the distance proved incredibly challenging. Daily FaceTime calls were a lifeline, but the girls missed him terribly.

That all changed when Laila and Laci paid a visit to their grandmother's. Sitting on the couch, they suddenly heard a familiar voice behind them. Turning around, they saw their dad there in the flesh! Their reaction was emotional!
