The Champagne toasts began early Thursday morning in Hollywood. As Golden Globes nominations rolled in before the sun came up, stars took to Twitter to share their excitement over the news. Here's a look at what the happy nominees are saying:
Reese Witherspoon, nominated for best actress in a drama for Wild, shared a text from her mother.
Who is more excited than Lorde, nominated for Mockingjay's "Yellow Flicker Beat" in the best original song category?
Helen Mirren, nominated for best actress in a comedy or musical for The Hundred-Foot Journey, sent this message via Disney:
"Merci a les Couilles D'orees. C'est Vachement chouette!" Translation: thank you to the golden balls. It is cowly [damned] nice."
Jessica Chastain, nominated for best supporting actress for A Most Violent Year, threw some love back to her former producer Megan Ellison:
Emma Stone, nominated for best supporting actress for Birdman, released this statement:
"I have no words. I am so incredibly honored and grateful for this and feel insanely lucky to have had the chance to work with Alejandro, Michael, Edward, and the whole cast and crew of the beautiful madness that is Birdman. Now can someone please explain who this 'Meryl Streep' woman is?!"?

Judd Apatow found out late about Girls nominated for best TV comedy and best actress in a comedy for Lena Dunham (he's an executive producer of the HBO show):

Patricia Arquette, nominated for best supporting actress for Boyhood:
Michael Keaton scored a nomination for best actor for Birdman.

John Legend was nominated with Common for best original song for Selma.
Emily Blunt was nominated for best actress in a comedy or musical for Into the Woods and released a statement.
