Early Golden Globe winner predictions

Awards season may be here, but it gets serious in January.

We'll see one show after another, from The People's Choice Awards (Jan. 7) to the Screen Actors Guild Awards (Jan. 25). And, of course, the Oscar nominations are announced at the crack of dawn on Jan. 15.

But before that, we have the Golden Globes. Nominations came out earlier this month. The winners will be announced at the annual party/show on Jan. 11.

Vegas oddsmakers at Bovada have crunched the numbers to come up with the odds-on favorites for Golden Globe winners. It looks like the stiff competition is between Boyhood and Birdman.

So if you're getting ready for your office pool, or maybe just need to catch up on the best films of the year, take a look:

Best motion picture, drama: Boyhood

Best actor in a motion picture, drama: Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything)

Best actress in a motion picture, drama: Julianne Moore (Still Alice)
