Look who's writing 'Fifty Shades' sequel

Blockbuster author E.L. James is making Fifty Shades of Grey a family affair.

She has enlisted her husband, Niall Leonard, to write the screenplay for the sequel, according to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.

It will be Leonard's first foray into writing a major studio film, but he has written script for British television shows. There had been buzz James, who has two sons with Leonard, wanted to write the screenplay. She'll certainly be able to keep close tabs on it this way.

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are attached to reprise their roles. Universal is still looking for a replacement for Sam Taylor-Johnson, who announced last month she would not be returning for the second film.

Fifty Shades of Gray pulled in a massive $568.8 million worldwide at the box office.
