New in theaters: Preview 'Inside Out,' 'Dope'
'Inside Out'
It's good to get your emotions in check before watching the exquisite Inside Out. You're bound to feel the whole bunch watching a child's mind come alive in the most imaginative ways. Directed by Pete Docter — the man behind indelible Pixar classics Up, Toy Story and WALL-E — the animated film peeks at the goings-on in the noggin of 11-year-old Riley. (***½ out of four stars)

'Dope'
A geeky kid (Shameik Moore) and his pals live in a rough neighborhood and get embroiled in an adventure involving drugs and L.A. oddballs. The Pharrell Williams-produced comedy, co-starring Forest Whitaker and Zoë Kravitz, is based on writer/director Rick Famuyiwa's experiences coming of age in Inglewood, Calif.
