New in theaters: 'The Visit,' 'The Perfect Guy'

The Visit

Yes, there is a twist in M. Night Shyamalan's newest movie. And no, the film doesn't have the same break-pop-culture-in-half storytelling as The Sixth Sense. What's more important about The Visit (**1/2 out of four; rated PG-13) is it's Shyamalan's best movie in years. The low-budget thriller deftly mixes horror-movie moments, pure strangeness and comedy as it takes audiences on one really oddball trip to grandma's house.
