Po shows off for his dad in 'Kung Fu Panda 3' exclusive deleted scene
Even a round mound of martial-arts mastery likes to show off to his dad.
Furry warrior Po (voiced by Jack Black) meets his long-lost parent Li Shan (Bryan Cranston) in the animated Kung Fu Panda 3 (out on digital HD platforms Friday, Blu-ray/DVD June 28), and this exclusive deleted scene is pretty much a Take Your Father to Work day at Po's dojo.
The Furious Five — Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Crane (David Cross), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Monkey (Jackie Chan) — are running a dangerous obstacle course with Po to get Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) his tea in a timely fashion, and Li Shan is very impressed by the whole thing. He still has a lot to learn, though: Li Shan yells, "Nice job, fella!" to Tigress, but Po has to remind him that she's in fact a girl.
Other extras include a new animated tale starring ribbon-dancing panda Mei Mei (Kate Hudson), a featurette about real pandas, a kid-friendly tutorial on paper folding and a video about the origins of Po's catchphrase "Skadoosh."
