Watch Dylan McDermott play a creepy dad in exclusive 'The Clovehitch Killer' trailer

Is Dylan McDermott a really bad dad?
The new thriller "The Clovehitch Killer" (in theaters and on digital HD platforms Nov. 16) stars McDermott as a straitlaced father in the Bible Belt who might just be a secret serial killer. The first trailer premieres exclusively at usatoday.com.
In the film directed by Duncan Skiles, a small Kentucky town is haunted by the brutal unsolved murders of 10 women by an assailant known as Clovehitch (named for the knots left at crime scenes). The killer has been quiet for more than a decade, but teenage Tyler Burnside (Charlie Plummer) wonders if his churchgoing dad Don (McDermott) might be the guy after finding some disturbing pictures in a backyard tool shed.
Don, though, is a pillar of the community and a town leader, so Tyler and his friend Kassi (Madisen Beaty) sneak around to investigate whether the mustached patriarch of the Burnside clan, who starts acting stranger and stranger, may be more sinister than anyone could imagine.
