Prince and all-female 3RDEYEGIRL hit the road April 15

After grabbing the music world's attention with a fiery show-stopping set last weekend at SXSW, Prince is heading out on a nine-city theater tour starting April 15 in Vancouver.

He'll be performing with his new female band, 3RDEYEGIRL, featuring guitarist Donna Grantis, bassist Ida Nielsen and drummer Hanna Ford. The band made its TV debut recently, performing the new Screwdriver and 1979's Bambi on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Prince plans two shows nightly, at 8 and 11:30 p.m.
